Below you will see information about two people looking to find volunteers to help them take part in activities. Please contact us if this is something you would be interested in.

We are looking to support people be as interdependent as possible and have an active role in their community. Your involement in this could make a real Difference. Why not think about helping us do that by becoming a volunteer?
Doing this could really enhance the life of a middle aged man that lives in Castlemilk and is supported by us. He is looking for someone to help him take part in doing some of the things he enjoys such as 10 pin bowling and visiting Shawfield Stadium. He really enjoys getting out and about but needs a bit of help to make this possible. If you have some spare time on your hands and are interested in supporting this chap we would love to hear from you. It will be enjoyable and good fun and will make a positive difference.
Could you be available for a few hours on a Wednesday or a Friday evening to get to know him and help him to do the things he enjoys? Please contact Roy on 0141-634-4996 or email her directly on roycampbell@fair-deal.org
Fair Deal will provide you with induction, training and support and pay reasonable expenses.

Fair Deal is committed to helping folk participate in the activities of their local community and in finding ways to develop their interests. To do this people need to get out and about but many of the people we know need some help to do that. Could you be someone who is able to volunteer some of their time to help? Doing a little bit can make a huge difference in the life of someone who may otherwise be quite isolated.
Like the gentleman above, this young lady is looking for someone to help her do some of the things she enjoys. She is chatty, likes to go to the movies, enjoys 10 pin bowling and going swimming. She is keen to get to know other people and has an interest in doing new things. If you are able to help her on a Tuesday or Saturday evening we would love to hear from you. Please contact Roy on 0141-634-4996 or email at roycampbell@fair-deal.org
Fair Deal will provide you with induction, training, support and we pay reasonable expenses.

If you enjoy driving and have some spare time on your hands why not think about being a volunteer driver with us. You would be working with a young woman and driving her to places she needs to be from a Monday to a Thursday. Her day has been well planned and she needs to be in the Cstlemilk and Battlefield areas to take part in a range of activities. The leaflet to the left gives you more details of what to expect. However your involvement could make a massive difference to this young woman being able to get out and about and do the things she enjoys.
We offer induction training and will meet the reasonable expenses of all volunteers. If this is something you would be interested in please contact Martha 0141-634-4996. If you prefer e-mail you can contact her directly at:
roycampbell@fair-deal.org
We would love to hear from you!

She lives in Castlemilk and loves shopping, having visitors in her home for a wee tea or coffee. She also enjoys chatting, listening to music and nights out - much like many other woman!
She is unable to do these things on her own and needs a bit of help to do them. Could you be the person to help her? Do you have some spare time on your hands in the afternoon in particular? Would you like to help someone fulfill their wishes for company and good fun?
