The Tormusk Development

In March 2011 6 chaps moved into new flats in the Tormusk Development, which is within the grounds of Tormusk Primary School. Fair Deal has utilised one of the flats as a 'drop in' facility. The purpose was to ensure the guys had somewhere to go if they had any problems, a place where they could come together, share a meal or watch TV and have a bit of banter to help them adjust! Just over a year into this venture and Fair deal are negotiating the transfer of the flat back to the Housing Association to be re-let as part of their housing stock. This is because the guys have settled really well now and enjoying their lives with the appropriate level of support to meet their individual needs.
