Quality Assurance

Fair Deal is fully committed to ensuring the support we provide for people is of the highest quality. We operate within the requirements and standards of the Care Comission and for our staff we ensure the codes of practice laid down by the Scottish Social Services Council are adhered to. Our performance is also monitored by Glasgow City Council. Fair Deal operates its own Quality Assurance System which is called Having Your Say. This focuses on gathering information through surveys from people who use our support on 8 key areas of their life. It asks people about

• their support
• their house
• the area where they live
• their money
• their rights and responsibilites
• their health
• their relationships and social life
• how they spend their time

This is carried across a randomly selected number of people who are supported by Fair Deal. We do this every year and the purpose is to ensure we are supporting people to have good lives and achieve the fundamental outcomes that are important to all of us. We aim for 100% customer satisfaction.
