Margaret is the Operation's Manager. She is responsible for ensuring that Fair Deal operate within a person centred way across all of the organisation and for making sure they are responsive to individual need. She sets standards across the services and monitors and evaluates performance and effectiveness. Margaret works closely with the Service Managers and supports their ongoing development as well as the promotion of Fair Deal's values. She is responsible for ensuring a culture of learning and development within Fair Deal and effectively leads the operational staff team.
She has responsibility for recruitment, staff training and development and meeting the organisations statutory requirements. Margaret is responsible for raising the profile of Fair Deal with external agencies. She works with the local authority and health as well as with organisations such as the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care, The Glasgow Social Care Providers Forum, The Scottish Social Services Council, SVQ Providers and the Advocacy Project.
Within her role she is an active member of the management team and contributes to the strategic development of Fair Deal and keeping abreast of changes in policy which may impact on the organisation and the people they support.

Jacqui is the Service Manager for Branch 1. As a Service Manager she plays a critical role in managing existing services and is responsible for the development and delivery of support and housing services. Her task is to ensure that the people who use Fair Deal's services are supported to lead full and inclusive lives by following a person centred approach in accordance with Fair Deal's values. This is achieved by:
Service Managers lead the team by example and in accordance with Fair Deal's values ensure that a person-centred approach is applied to service provision, service development and all policies and procedures. The values underpinning Fair Deal's services are Responsibility, Equality, Choice, Interdependence, Participation and Empowerment.

Lizzie is one of two Support Co-ordinators working closely with Jacqui in Branch 1. There are 5 Support Co-ordinators across the two branches overall and each has a similar remit. The purpose of the Support Co-ordinator post is to lead, manage and develop person centred support for people using Fair Deal's services and support arrangements.
Lizzie ensures that the support people receive is person centred and has been negotiated and agreed with the person purchasing the service, their family, and where appropriate the funder. She makes sure that the staff she manages are clear about the requirements, functions and responsibilities of their post and will monitor their performance against agreed outcomes.
She is an integral part of service delivery having both management and hands on operational responsibilities.

Paul is the other Support Co-ordinator working closely with Jacqui and Lizzie in Branch 1. He has similar responsibilities as Lizzie and both also:

Anne Marie is the Service Manager for Branch 2 and has the same responsibilities as Jacqui Brown. Both Service Managers also ensure that they:-
As Service Managers they work closely with Margaret Fenton the Operations Manager to maintain standards that are consistent with:
They work to ensure that people who use the services and support of Fair Deal are listened to and heard and that what they experience positively influences the ongoing development of Fair Deal's work.

Diane is one of 3 Support Co-ordinators working alongside Anne Marie in Branch 2 and has a similar remit to the others. She also provides, like them, positive leadership for staff and ongoing mentoring and supervision to the people they support.
The Support Co-ordinators all provide positive leadership within their team to inspire, motivate and enable staff to perform at the highest level. They demonstrate and lead on good practice for everyone to see and encourage creativity, flexibility and imaginitive use of resources.
The Support Co-ordinators manage a comprehensive on-call service and respond as necessary to the needs of people who use it. Each of them demonstrates a sound understanding of the principles underpinning Fair Deal's work in their day to day practice and involvement with people who use support as well as all of the organisation's stakeholders.

Naddem is also a Support Co-ordinator working in Branch 2 alongside Diane and Justene. He has duties in line with all of the others and each of them are expected to:
Naddem like the other Support Co-ordinators is expected to provide information to assist with the completion of statutory and/or organisational monitoring requirements. This includes monitoring and evaluating the current support through support plans and implementing any changes required in order to provide the most appropriate support to each person.
While in seperate branches all of the Support Co-ordinators work effectively across the organisation to ensure consistency and best practice so that people get the support they need to meet their unique requirements.
Justene is also a Support Co-ordinator in Branch 2 but has responsibility to lead and support the personalisation work of both the Branches - across the whole organisation. She is the lead on self directed support for the organisation and is heavily involved in the demonstration of self directed support that Fair Deal are testing out.
They are doing this to ensure their support arrangements are fit for the 21st Century and reflect the current policy directives which focus on people themselves having the control over their own lives for designing and planning their own support arrangements. While the organisation's processes need to be redefined to deal with the complexities of individual budgets Fair Deal is a very creative and flexible organisation which is well positioned to respond to this new way of working.
Justene's work and that of the other Support Co-ordinators will be crucial in helping Fair Deal to continue to develop in this new context but above all else ensure people who are supported are truly in control of the process as well as the outcomes.

Roy has been appointed as Fair Deal‘s Volunteer Coordinator. He will take up post on 4th January 2012. The Volunteer Project is a brand new development with funding secured for a period of one year with the potential for a further two years of funding. Roy will be involved in:

Audrey works with Planning Together and is responsible for engaging with people who have learning disabilities and their families and carers. She ensures that they are appropriately consulted and actively involved in the ongoing development of services and support arrangements across Glasgow.
She tries to reach as many people as possible in the various localities across the city by establishing the Planit Groups in the 5 localities. Audrey also works hard at making sure people who are often left out of the consultative processes are actively involved. She does this by making information and documents easy read and accessible for everyone.
Audrey facilitates the Planit Group meetings and supports the participants with the various events and campaigns they decide to organise. Audrey has supported people to be fully involved in the modernisation of day services in Glasgow and attends the neccesary meetings with the Director of Social Work and the Councillors.

Scott is the development worker with the Parallel Transport Liaison Group (PTLG). His job is to visit day centres used by people with learning disabilities, learning disability day services and special needs schools. This is to talk to people who have a learning disability and their carers about transport issues. Scott attends the meetings of the PTLG and he feeds back what he finds out from people so they can have their views about transport heard and influence the policies being made.

Clare is the Senior Administrator working with Fair Deal and manages the administrative work of the organisation as well as supervising the administrative staff.
She has responsibility for the monthly payroll, organising training programmes and keeping staff training records. She also deals with the personnel records, health and safety requirements and first aid.
Clare's team consists of Sumra, Peter and Laura who work effectively together to deliver on all of the administrative functions necessary to keep Fair Deal running smoothly.

Sumra is the Finance Administrator for Fair Deal. Her duties include processing the 4 weeekly invoices, paying staff expenses, recording cash income and expenditure, keeping detailed financial records and organsing the interviews for staff recruitment.

Laura is the Receptionist for Fair Deal and is the first point of contact for many visitors to the office. She is supported in this work by Peter and together they provide a warm welcome in a friendly manner. Laura also works on general admin tasks as part of the team helping out where necessary.

Peter is sometimes the person who cheerily welcomes you on arrival at Fair Deal's office. He is an Administrative Support Assistant and provides reception duties, telephone answering and assists other admin team members with a range of duties as and when necessary.

Leeanne is the Finance Officer and works for Ardencraig Housing Association. She also provides the financial services and support needed by Fair Deal which Fair Deal purchases from Ardencraig. This makes good business sense for Fair Deal and is a very cost effective way of getting specialised support.
Leeanne's remit includes the day to day operation of the finances, budget setting support and production of quarterly management accounts and/or any other financial reports required by the senior management team or board.
