Ann Marie Docherty

Ann Marie Docherty is the Director of Fair Deal and has worked with us since 1991. She is well known in the area having grown up in Castlemilk and is a highly regarded professional in the field of social care. Ann Marie has been responsible, working alongside the Board, for the success of the organisation.

She continually rises to new challenges and has ensured Fair Deal remains at the forefront of innovation and best practice over the years. Ann Marie has excellent skills in networking and has created positive partnerships with anumber of organisations across the City who support and recognise the work of Fair Deal.

When not working Ann Marie likes to spend time with her family and her two teenage children. Her hobbies include walking and getting the occasional game of golf with the odd glass of wine!  Ann Marie is also actively involved in her own community with her local cricket club as well as being a director in a voluntary role with Castlemilk Credit Union. Very recently Ann Marie participated in the Glasgow half marathon to raise funds for the new volunteering project that Fair Deal is developing.
