Machrie Development Nominated For Prestigious Award

The Machrie Development has been nominated for the Care Home Development of the Year at the Scottish Homes Awards for 2012. This prestigious award nomination comes at an exciting time in the changing landscape of Social Care Policy, which now sees a whole new approach to supporting people to live in the community.
The award ceremony takes place on Thursday 28th June 2012 at the Hilton in Glasgow.
The Machrie Development is particularly exciting as the tenants all have their own flats and each flat has been designed around their specific needs offering support tailored to individuals. It maximises the use of assistive technology to ensure people have the ideal balance of freedom, independence and are still safe.
The tenants have been heavily involved in all aspects of design and layout of the property and now have truly bespoke homes which they all enjoy living in. Our fingers are crossed and the winner will be revealed on the night!
