How People Have Used Their Individual Budget

Fair Deal will use this page to bring you examples of how other people have used their Individual Budget to meet their needs as identified in their Support Plan. It will hopefully provide you with some good stories about what worked well for them and how they have managed to make their Individual Budget stretch further.

A good example is the people going to live in the newly refurbished houses at Machrie. These houses will have lots of new technology installed which will help people be more independent, rely less on staff support and it will make their individual budget stretch further.

We want to show you that this new way of working can give people a new freedom to control their own support and in doing so have much more control over their own lives.
