Special Olympics Fair Deal held a party to give Kenny MacLiver and Stuart Devlin a fitting send off to the Special Olympics in Leicester. Kenny and Stuart will represent Glasgow West at the Special Olympics. Ardenglen Housing Association & Castlemilk Credit Union very generously sponsored the send off party. Una Miller said that both Kenny and Stuart will begin an adventure of a lifetime. Una said that donations had been collected for both athletes. Photo’s were taken of Kenny and Stuart receiving their donations.  Margaret Fenton wished both Kenny and Stuart the best of luck. She said staff and service users wanted to celebrate their achievement. Councillor Docherty then said a few words and wished both Kenny and Stuart the best of luck over the next week. There was food and the chance to socialise.  Both Kenny and Stuart received many messages of support throughout the afternoon and a good time was had by all.
